The text says,
Your voice has forever gone quiet to me/
a silent longing/
will now fill my heart
The tombstone was made for a farmer called Johannes.

There was nothing more on this grave than a book with words engraved on it.
The spiritual simplicity spoke with more power than the larger monuments and more decorated words created in the honour of those once loved.
